Organic ExtraVirgin Olive oil

Our organic extra virgin olive oil is the result of the squeezing of the 4 traditional Tuscan olive trees such as Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Pendolino picked up by hand on the olive groves of our farm located in the Chianti area, in the Elsa river valley.
Our extra virgin olive oil is certified organic in the respect of the organic specifications of the production chain, from pruning to bottling directly in our property, to guarantee the highest organoleptic qualities. The olives are brought to the mill twice in a day and pressed mechanically to ensure that the organoleptic properties remain unchanged. Low acidity, plenty of polyphenols give our evoo healthiness features. Protected from light, frost and carefully stored, it will preserve the typical flavors and aromas of our territory.


On the nose, the oil has a fresh, clean olive aroma. Decisive but balanced, it tastes fruity with prevailing hints of artichoke, fresh almond and cut grass. The strong intensity, the piquant and lightly bitter sensations make Casa Pietraia organic extra virgin olive oil perfectly suitable for vegetables, legumes, soups, vinaigrette. It is also recommended for cooking and frying.
