Situato sulla cima di una collina che domina l'intera Val D’Elsa a Casa Pietraia potrete godere di una piscina a sfioro da 15 metri e un giardino privato che circonda l'intera struttura.

Located on the top of a hill dominating the entire Val d’Elsa, Casa Pietraia includes an ancient farmstead or casa colonica a barn, a 15 metres infinity pool and a private garden surrounding the whole structure.
La Villa

L'appartamento si trova al primo piano della villa. Una scala esterna conduce a una loggia esposta a sud, seguendo la migliore tradizione delle case coloniche toscane. Da qui, gli ospiti possono ammirare la vista e rilassarsi.

L'appartamento, di 150 metri quadrati, è composto da sette camere, due bagni e una cucina con un soggiorno adatto per 8 ospiti. La prima camera da letto, con bagno privato, si trova sul lato est.

Appena fuori dalla camera da letto, c'è uno studio con un divano letto, adiacente all'ingresso. In questa stanza, un ampio camino invita gli ospiti a sedersi attorno al tavolo da pranzo o a rilassarsi sul divano. Accanto troviamo una cucina completamente attrezzata.

Seguendo il corridoio, troviamo il secondo bagno e due camere da letto: la prima con un letto di dimensioni queen e la seconda con tre letti singoli. Il salotto si trova alla fine di questo corridoio.

Probabilmente, il salotto è la nostra stanza preferita: con finestre che si aprono su tre lati diversi, offre una vista sull'intera Val D'Elsa ed è il posto migliore per ammirare i tramonti.

Vogliamo che questo appartamento diventi la tua casa per tutto il periodo in cui rimarrai qui, un luogo in cui rilassarti e dimenticare le preoccupazioni quotidiane. Questo è il motivo per cui l'affitto include le pulizie quotidiane, così da poter godere appieno della tua vacanza senza preoccuparti di fare il letto.

Casa Pietraia

The flat is on the first floor of the Villa.
An outdoor staircase leads to a south-facing loggia, in the best Tuscan Villas tradition. From here, guests can admire the view and relax sitting on the benches or at the small table.
The 150 square meters flat is made of seven rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and grants a sleeping accommodation for 8 guests.
The first bedroom with ensuite bathroom is located on the east side.
Just outside the bedroom there is a studio with a sofa bed, adjoining the entrance. In this room, a big fireplace invites the guests to sit around the dining table or to relax on the couch.
Next to it we find a fully equipped kitchen painted in pastel colours.
Following the corridor we find the second bathroom and two bedrooms, the first with a queen-size bed and the second with three single beds. The sitting room is at the end of this corridor.
The sitting room is probably our favourite room: with its windows that open on three different sides, it offers a view on the entire Val d’Elsa and it’s the best spot to admire sunsets.
We want this flat to become your house for as long as you will stay here, a place to relax and forget everyday worries.
This is why the rent includes daily housekeeping, so that you can fully enjoy your vacation without worrying about making your bed.

La piscina

L'esercizio fisico è un aspetto chiave per mantenere la salute. Grazie ai suoi 15 metri di lunghezza e 1,40 metri di profondità, sarai in grado di nuotare liberamente e senza preoccupazioni nella nostra piscina. Ma siamo convinti che la piscina sia anche un luogo per rilassarsi circondati dalla natura.

Questo è il motivo per cui abbiamo scelto una piscina a sfioro, così l'occhio può abbracciare l'intero orizzonte anche quando è a solo un centimetro dalla superficie dell'acqua.

Il giardino

Il giardino circonda la villa, e i nostri ospiti ne hanno accesso completo. Il padre di Giancarlo, Tito, era un giardiniere della scuola fiorentina e ha lasciato dietro di sé la sua passione per le piante e i fiori di questo giardino. Alcune di queste piante sono davvero antiche, come gli alberi di limone o la quercia nella parte meridionale del giardino; altre sono regali da amici che hanno apprezzato il loro tempo a Casa Pietraia. Ognuna di esse porta con sé una storia da condividere con i nostri ospiti.

Quando il tempo è favorevole, ci piace disporre il vecchio tavolo in pietra per i nostri ospiti, trasformando la cena in un'occasione per condividere storie e conoscerci reciprocamente. Offriamo anche altre due aree ombreggiate dove potrai gustare un pranzo preparato con prodotti locali. Se cerchi un'atmosfera più intima, puoi sederti sotto il portico, all'ombra del gelso. Al tramonto, durante l'estate, una brezza leggera accarezza i rami frondosi, rendendo il luogo perfetto per la meditazione.

Casa Pietraia is a Tuscany treasure! We spent five nights/four days with Matteo, Giancarlo & Emma, enjoying the serene countryside, outstanding food & wine, spectacular sunsets and daily tours. The villa is warm and inviting with all the comforts of home. Matteo is an outstanding tour guide, he and Giancarlo are experts on the surrounding old towns with inside knowledge on great places to see and the cool people to meet. Meals at the villa are world-class with Chef Emma using local produce and their award winning olive oil... it simply the BEST! Make sure to ship some home! Highlight of our trip was the cooking class, so much fun. You are remarkable hosts, now friends. Thank you for sharing your family, passion and culture with us. We cannot wait to visit again! We are so grateful for our time at Casa Pietraia! Emma, Giancarlo, Matteo and their whole family made us feel like family as well! The villa is so comfortable with breathtaking views of the beautiful countryside! They took so much time and effort to plan out every detail of our visit. The dinner and breakfast were so delicious and picture perfect!! Our cooking class with Emma was a major highlight of our time at the villa! We will definitely plan a trip again! Mein Mann und ich wollten mehr über die Herstellung von Olivenöl aus der Region erfahren und uns wurde daraufhin das Casa Pietraia empfohlen. Matteo hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben eine private Führung von ihm erhalten. Mit viel Herz und eine Menge Wissen hat Matteo uns unter anderem über die verschieden Olivensorten, die Herstellung von Olivenöl und deren Geschichte erzählt. Im Anschluss durften wir das fantastische Olivenöl probieren. Auch hier hat er uns angeleitet und viele Tipps gegeben wie man ein gutes Olivenöl von einem schlechten unterscheidet. Natürlich haben wir auch direkt Olivenöl für zu Hause mitgenommen. Wir würden diese Erfahrung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und bedanken uns nochmal bei Matteo für den wirklich interessanten und kurzweiligen Exkurs zum Thema Olivenöl!

Wir haben eine super interessante Führung von Matteo (dem Besitzer der Farm) bekommen. Er hat uns in einem seiner Olivenhaine alles über die Olivenbäume erklärt. Von der Historie seiner Plantage, über die verschiedenen Baumarten, bis zum Ablauf der Pflege und Ernte eines Olivenbaums. Auch die Olive an sich und wie daraus gutes Öl gewonnen wird, hat er uns kurzweilig nahe gebracht. Im Anschluss hat er uns erklärt, wie man Olivenöl verkostet und erkennt, ob ein Olivenöl gut ist. Sein eigenes Olivenöl ist wirklich toll, mehrfach ausgezeichnet und wird in die ganze Welt verkauft. Matteo ist ein super lieber Typ und erklärt auf interessante Weise wie seine Arbeit funktioniert. Ein wirklich sehenswerter Ort. Auch Übernachtungen direkt in der Villa sind möglich.

My husband and I were in search for excellent olive oil Tuscany had to offer and we found it at Casa Pietraia. Matteo kindly let us visit Casa Pietraia on short notice and was very hospitable when we got there, even on a very busy day. He gave us some background on the history of the region and explained the process on producing excellent quality olive oil. The olive grove is family owned and we could see how passionate they are with what they do. We love their olive oil so much that we bought a few in all sizes for our family and as souvenir. He poured it directly from the barrels to the bottles that same day. We were so happy to find fresh organic olive oil! Bonus - the view of Chianti from the villa is breathtaking!

Eine herzliche Familie empfing uns auf einem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde! Wir haben als Familie ( 7 Personen mit 3 Generationen) zwei Wochen Urlaub bei der Casa Pietraia machen dürfen! Es war traumhaft schön und uns fehlte nichts! Matteo, Gian Carlo und Emma sind wunderbare, liebe Gastgeber, die immer für alle Wünsche und Fragen bereit stehen! Die Wohnung ist großzügig und wie ein eigenes Zuhause eingerichtet! Gemütlich im Wohnbereich, moderne Badezimmer an jedem Schlafzimmer. Eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und viele Sitzmöglichkeiten zum gemeinsamen Essen oder Entspannen! Englischsprachige Literatur und Bildbände, sowie Reiseführer der Gegend stehen zur Benutzung im Bücherregal! Die Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt und der Pool ist groß und lädt bei den warmen Temperaturen zum Abkühlen ein! Sitz-und Liegemöbel sind mit Sonnenschirmen und Pergola angenehm beschattet. Emma ist eine fantastische Köchin! Toskanische Spezialitäten lecker mit viel Liebe zubereitet und dekoriert! Auch das vielseitige Frühstück ist ein Traum! Für Ausflüge erfährt man viele Tipps von der Familie, so dass jeder Urlaubstag perfekt geplant werden kann! Die Abende auf der Casa sind besonders schön! So wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge haben wir selten zu sehen bekommen! Wir planen jetzt schon unseren nächsten Besuch bei der Casa Pietraia!

Jeżeli ktoś szuka 100% Toskanii, oszałamiających widoków, niezwykle miłych i uprzejmych ludzi, niewiarygodnej kuchni, ciszy i spokoju to Casa Pietraia jest tym miejscem. W różnych miejscach spędzaliśmy wakacje ale bardzo rzadko się zdarza, żeby rzeczywistość przekraczała oczekiwania. Duża zasługa gospodarzy czyli Emmy i jej kuchni, Giancarlo, który dba o jakość i klimat tego miejsca oraz Matteo który jest w stanie pomóc i zorganizować wszystko o czym się pomyśli. Bardzo Wam za to dziękujemy! Dla nas absolutny Top.
